Everyone is welcome at the Bard Manhattan Parent Teacher Association, and all parents, guardians, and educators of current students are automatically members.
Our work fosters a vibrant and supportive community to enhance the unique early college experience, and to enable families to share their ideas, communicate with each other, and help to shape our school.
The PTA raises funds for college seminar course books, arts programs, sports, clubs, trips, computers and smartboards, and more!
We keep you informed about our fundraising goals in emails, newsletters, and at the PTA meetings. There’s a lot to do this year, and we need all hands on deck! Your time is just as valuable as a financial contribution. Join us!

The morass of NYC high school admissions is actually really strong practice for the realness of the college application process. Since our exmissions stats are only as good as our College Transfer Office, check out that enrollment board!
The PTA provides $10,000 in pledged support for college tours, SAT test prep and fee subsidies, and other application season-related expenses.
Bard kids work hard to earn a free transferable Associates degree by their high school graduation. This can reduce the price of their Bachelors degree by up to half.
Help us meet our goal in supporting the core tenet of a BHSEC education: equitable access to higher education. Please donate today!
Glad to Meet You!
Help us to better serve this community by sharing some details about your family. If we know where you live, we can schedule events in accessible places or help find a commuting buddy for your kid. When you share your skills or what you do for work, we might translate that into a fantastic fundraiser! It’s all hands on deck this year to meet our funding goals for the benefit of our school. See our budget for more information.
We’re all for privacy; anything you tell us goes in the vault.
